A Day at 10A Alabama

Last Saturday, July 7, 2012, was my first time to go to the 10A Alabama Arts and Crafts Fair.   It truly is a delight to be with artists and crafters.  For more information and updates about 10A Alabama, please check their FB page.  Here's a link to their Facebook page:

Unique rag dolls from I Am Hand Made.  The owner is into quilting and she uses her scrap fabrics to make these delightful dolls. Here's a link to her FB page:

Of course, I would not have known about 10A Alabama if not for Hey Kessy.  Here's our picture with Ms. Mansy Abesamis, owner of Hey Kessy.  They sell beautiful Japanese washi tapes, baker's twines and cute stickers.  You can check out their website, blog, FB page and Twitter.  Here are the links:

Washi tapes and Baker's twines that I bought from Hey Kessy:

There are many artists there selling jewelries, trinkets and accessories out of ordinary items such as bottlecaps, zippers and old toys, but the creations of Junkshop Abubot stood out from the rest.  They made accessories out of unique items such as bottlecaps, computer keys and wires from old computers and phone cables!  How creative! :D

Check out their display containers!  They're miniature wooden pushcarts or kariton in Filipino.  According to the owner, it was made by her brother.  Truly, artistic genes run in their family. :)

Bracelets made out of computer wires.

The yellow bracelet is made out of sando plastic bags.

I love this ring that I bought from Junkshop Abubot!  Hurray to Ms. Ros! :D

With Ms. Shani Tan of Aromateria Scents and Sensibilities.  She was very kind enough to explain to us her products.  My, what a talented lady!  Love her wax perfumes! I bought the Agueda Aromateria Scent.  You can also check out their website:

I chose this perfume because of its sweet flowery scent!  Mmmm...Sampaguita!

Pam, my sister-in-law, and I had a delightful afternoon at 10A Alabama.  Can't wait to get back there soon.  I think they will have another arts and crafts fair on September.  Check their FB page for updates and details.

Pam loves the fabric banner hanging at the walkway entrance of 10A Alabama.

Thanks for dropping by everyone.  God bless. :)
