A View to my Craft Room

Hi everyone, just want to show you where I do my crafting when I have the time. I share this room with hubby but he keeps away from it when I'm doing my thing. You know, "RESPECTING ONE'S SPACE". Anyway, the cabinets and table were all designed by my dad and was made by our local carpenter, Mang Tony.

As you can see, I've recycled some non-craft items as storages.  If you look up among the bookshelves, you'll see that I used my spice rack as storage for embellishments such as sequins, flowers and rhinestones.  I also used shoeboxes and chocolate baskets (on the right side of the table) to store my scrap papers and tools that I often use in my projects.

As you can see it's a little cluttered but I love my little craft room. :)

Veggie Nuggets

My daughter loves this snack. It is an adaptation from one of Nigella Lawson's recipes. My husband's neice, Vikka, was the one who named it as such. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do. It is a very healthy and fun snack.

Ingredients:
2 cups of grated carrots or squash
1 1/2 cup of Japanese breadcrumbs
1 cup grated cheese
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup hot water 1 tbsp.
Magic Sarap seasoning (optional)
1/4 tsp. white pepper

In 3 separate bowls, prepare the following:
Eggwash (2 eggs beaten with 1/2 cup water)
Cornstarch or all-purpose flour
Japanese breadcrumbs

 To Cook:
In a large bowl, combine all the first 7 ingredients. Mix well then form into 1-inch balls. Dip the nuggets on the three prepared bowls in this order: 1. Roll it first in the cornstarch 2. Then in the eggwash 3. Finally, on the breadcrumbs Deep-fry the nuggets using canola oil until golden brown. Drain the nuggets in paper towels and serve warm as is or may be dipped in sour cream or chili sauce. Enjoy!:)
